Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict and Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin were each fined $12,154 for unsportsmanlike conduct after the players raised middle fingers in separate games Sunday, sources told ESPN.Burfict stuck both of his middle fingers up toward the stands late in the fourth quarter of the Bengals 16-12 home loss to the Bills. The fine is Burficts second of the season. He was fined $75,000 for allegedly stomping on the leg of Patriots running back LeGarrette Blount.Burfict also was suspended three games without pay to start the season for violating the NFLs safety policy.Baldwin was fined after he was seen giving Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell the middle finger during a win over the Philadelphia Eagles. In the third quarter, Baldwin threw a 15-yard touchdown pass to Russell Wilson on a trick play. Before the play, coming out of the huddle, Baldwin flipped Bevell off because, he said, he likes to catch touchdowns in the red zone, not throw them.We joked about it, Baldwin said. Im sure you guys know now weve been begging for that play for a couple weeks now, trying to get that done. However, I didnt want it in the red zone. I wanted the target in the red zone.Typically when we get in the red zone, all the receivers, all the tight ends, were kind of lobbying for the opportunity to get a pass in the end zone so we can score some touchdowns. Its very seldom that you hear a quarterback lobbying for a pass to himself, which Russell [Wilson] didnt. But its just the fact that we dont want to literally be throwing away our targets in the red zone.Bevell had a laugh about Baldwins gesture on Wednesday.Doug and I have a great relationship, first and foremost, Bevell said. I think Doug in his excitement, when he heard the play called in the huddle and knowing that he was going to get an opportunity to make Seahawk history, he was really excited, and he wanted to tell Bev that he was No. 1. And he just messed up a little bit there. If I could inspire him to make that perfect pass, then Ill go ahead and take it. Adam Wainwright Jersey . NRL GRAND FINAL KEY MATCH-UPS:VALENTINE HOLMES (Sharks) v SULIASI VUNIVALU (Storm)They were neck and neck all year, together with Canberras Jordan Rapana, for top tryscoring honours and now theyll go toe-to-toe on the biggest stage. Holmes tops the list at Cronulla with 19 on the right edge, while Vunivalus 23 on the left edge broke former Storm sensation Israel Folaus record for most tries in an NRL season by a rookie.JAMES MALONEY (Sharks) v COOPER CRONK (Storm)Theyll be wearing different numbers but theres no doubting both players are the No.1 orchestrators for their teams in good-ball situations. Cronks numbers wipe the floor with Maloneys in 2016, with the Storm general ahead on try assists (29 to 10), line break assists (22 to 10), tries (12 to seven) and tackle breaks (30 to 24).MICHAEL ENNIS (Sharks) v CAMERON SMITH (Storm)The NRLs serial pest versus the games elder statesman. The emotion of Ennis farewell from the game will dominate talk in the build-up, although it will be countered by Smiths trademark coolness under pressure. Ennis in-your-face style is in diirect contrast to Smiths calculated demeanour, and whoever dominates will be a telling factor in determining the winner.ddddddddddddANDREW FIFITA (Sharks) v JESSE BROMWICH (Storm)Another match-up of contrasts, with Fifitas unorthodox front-row play baring little similarity to Bromwichs effective footwork close to the line. Either way, both have provide the go-forward impetus for their respective teams. Fifita shades Bromwich for x-factor, highlighted by his superior tackle breaks (90 to 42) and offloads (66 to 43).BEN BARBA (Sharks) v CAMERON MUNSTER (Storm)The numbers alone make for tantalising reading, and set the scene for either to be a possible game-breaker. Barba edges Munster in tries (15 to 4) and try assists (21 to 12), but trails in line break assists (19 to 23) and tackle busts (97 to 114). Barba was once considered the heir to Billy Slaters Queensland jersey, while Munster has done an outstanding job for the Storm in his absence. ' ' '
